A gift to mark the moment you propose

A proposal is remembered for a lifetime. A few thoughtful touches can make the memory even richer.
If you are planning to propose, you will already be thinking about the ring. Before you choose it, quietly notice the jewellery they already wear. Do they live in silver, or gold, or rose gold? Do they like delicate pieces, or bold ones? The most beautiful ring in the shop means little if it is not their style.
Then think about the moment itself. A handwritten letter, read before or after you ask, becomes a keepsake in its own right. Long after the day, the words will still be there to return to.
A small gift afterwards works too: a photograph of the place, a piece of art for the wall where it happened, or something from the date you first met. It says: this moment matters, and we will keep it.
Years from now, which small detail will they still remember?
